In our fourth session, "Defining Success and Carving Your Niche,” Roselyn Connor will guide participants through pathways to achieving success and establishing a unique identity. Roselyn Connor
Roselyn Connor spent seven years on the faculty of Northwestern University’s Center for Public Safety as one of their major executive management trainers of police and fire personnel. She is president of Brandon & Connor Associates in Chicago and has been a successful business consultant and international speaker. Since starting her firm in ‘93, she’s been a trainer and consultant to some major US establishments including: The Chicago Police Dept., Illinois State Police, Orange County California Public Defenders, U.S. Navy, Air Force, Marines, Army, Coast Guard, Secret Service, DLA, FBI, Environmental Protection Agency, NAACP, International Carwash Assoc., Nevada Public Schools, Macy’s Stores, Owens Corning, People’s Gas, Commonwealth Edison, Southern California Power, churches, schools, hospitals and thousands more.
Roselyn’s majors in Astrophysics and Russian never led to her original goal; becoming an astronaut. Instead, her natural ability for energizing people took center stage. She’s never regretted her choice.
She has trained every Chicago Police sergeant in Team Building. Her evaluations reflected a high 99.3% excellent rating. Her background includes training police officers from more than 70 departments nationwide. She knows exactly what it takes to connect with both management and personnel.
Much to her credit, Roselyn was asked to train the well-publicized Highland Park, Illinois Police Department for racial profiling. The news story was featured on the ABC show 20/20. Roselyn has been instrumental to many companies, schools and government agencies in educating their staffs. She’s appeared on both CNN and FOX News.
Her seminars have been the subject of over 25 newspapers and magazines both local and national. A reporter with the Tribune wrote, “Roselyn is so comfortable in front of audiences, it’s as if she was born to do this...”
